Speaking at the 2023 Black Women Thrive Conference

Black women are a fundamental part of every community, yet they are often underestimated and underrepresented in areas that matter the most. This is why empowering US is vital to the success and growth of our society. I had the honor of being invited to speak at a conference focused on black women thriving, sharing our stories on how we depart from simply surviving. Our segment’s theme was: Beyond The Barriers: How To Thrive In The Workplace. This conference was a great opportunity to learn, network and share ideas to uplift ourselves and our communities.

Leaving this conference, my heart felt so so full. Having the opportunity to be in a space where I was able to share my story but also hear from others was so empowering and left a lasting impression on me and I hope I did the same for others. Empowered women can change the world, and it all starts with supporting and uplifting each other.
